This project is a complete renovation and major addition to an existing Hollywood Hills ranch house (1963) located along Nichols Canyon Road. The addition provides a new bedroom suite and expanded garage, while the total renovation includes an open plan, double-height glass wall at the stair, a new dining area, reconfigured entry and larger openings into the rear garden.

Even on this difficult site the landscape weaves seemlessly into a new, open-planned interior. We added an enclosed front garden, water feature, side and rear decks, stone walls and vegetation to provide an immersive private exterior.

No longer a simple ranch, this building was re-imagined inside and out to create a residence of impeccable, contemporary (yet sensual) character.
